Shared branches make it easy. Sound is a <a href=\"https:\/\/co-opcreditunions.org\/locator\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Shared Branching network<\/a> member and <a href=\"https:\/\/co-opcreditunions.org\/locator\/\" rel=\"noopener\">CO-OP ATM Network<\/a> member. This means you can conduct basic transactions at more than 5,000+ shared branching locations across the U.S., plus nearly 30,000 surcharge-free* CO-OP ATMs.<\/p>\n<p>Shared branching lets you make:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deposits<\/li>\n<li>Withdrawals<\/li>\n<li>Loan payments and advances<\/li>\n<li>Transfer between accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For shared branching, all you&#8217;ll need is<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>your home credit union&#8217;s name<\/li>\n<li>your account number or member number, and<\/li>\n<li>your signed valid government-issued picture identification (ID). Examples of acceptable ID include a U.S. passport or state-issued driver&#8217;s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For account security purposes, you may be asked to verify<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the name on the account,<\/li>\n<li>your date of birth, and<\/li>\n<li>the last four digits of your Social Security number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If any of the requested information or valid ID is not provided, the shared branching hosting credit union will not be able to assist you\u2014for the security and safety of your account.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h3\">Find a Shared Branch or ATM near you<\/h2>\n<p>Visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/co-opcreditunions.org\/locator\/\" rel=\"noopener\">co-opcreditunions.org\/locator\/\u00a0<\/a>or download and use the CO-OP Locator app to find Shared Branching Network locations and CO-OP ATMs Network ATMs.<\/p>\n<h2>Not a Sound Credit Union member?<\/h2>\n<p>*Surcharge-free transactions are available for debit and ATM card holders of participating credit unions, like Sound Credit Union. Not a Sound Credit Union member yet? Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/co-opcreditunions.org\/locator\/\" rel=\"noopener\">co-opcreditunions.org\/locator\/<\/a>\u00a0and click through the &#8220;Does My CU Participate?&#8221; link to find out if your credit union participates in both the Shared Branching Network and the CO-OP ATM Network \u2013 not all do.
