Sound announced its Fight Against Hunger earlier this year, and has since teamed up with a number of local organizations to provide more than 70,000 meals to people in need.<\/p>\n<p>With so many community partners struggling to access resources, Sound has contributed nearly $50,000 to organizations with COVID-19 response funds helping with hunger relief, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.auburnwa.gov\/city_hall\/parks_arts_recreation\/senior_activity_center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">City of Auburn Senior Activity Center<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/rentontukwila.ciswa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Communities in Schools Renton-Tukwila<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.compasshousingalliance.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Compass Housing Alliance<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.efoodnet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Emergency Food Network<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/foodlifeline.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Food Lifeline<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northwestharvest.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Northwest Harvest<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nourishpc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nourish Pierce County<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattlepride.org\/about\/in-the-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seattle Pride<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/snohomishfoodbank.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Snohomish Community Food Bank<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tacoma.uw.edu\/node\/52820\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Pantry<\/a> at the University of Washington, Tacoma<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/thurstoncountyfoodbank.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thurston County Food Bank<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwpc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">United Way of Pierce County<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/philanthropynw.org\/wa-food-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WA Food Fund<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201c<em>Washingtonians have been affected by this pandemic in different ways. Sound believes we need to be here to help them through this crisis<\/em>,\u201d said Jennifer Reed, VP of Public Relations. \u201c<em>When we work with local non-profits and businesses in our community, together we can make a strong impact. Through this pandemic and beyond, Sound will remain committed to our purpose of standing with our members, employees and communities through all waves of life<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recognizing that many essential workers on the front lines were working countless hours with limited breaks, Sound supported local organizations helping feed healthcare workers: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crispmeals.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Crisp Meals<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontlinefoods.org\/seattle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Frontline Foods Seattle<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theherbfarm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Herbfarm<\/a>. This support has provided more than 350 meals to healthcare and frontline workers to date.<\/p>\n<p>Sound is also committed to helping its members and community in creative ways during the &#8220;Stay Home, Stay Healthy&#8221; order. Sound offers a Member Assistance Program for those affected by the pandemic. Video appointments are an option for those who would like to meet with Sounds lending and investment services teams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sound is considered an \u201cessential business\u201d and in order to keep members and employees safe, branch service is currently available at our drive-thru windows (where available) and by appointment.
