Christmas Gift List Ideas – for the man about town

In my last Gift Ideas post I shared some gift inspiration for the geeky guy which you can find here but this week’s focus is on some perfect pressies for the man about town

I was recently introduced to Brewdog and I’m now a lover of their craft beers – this Beer Bullet from Beer Hawk is a great gift for a beer lover or just for someone who might like to try a new drink, my personal favourite from this selection is the Punk IPA but there are a whole load of mixes to choose from on their site

There’s something very attractive about a man in a smart coat like this wool blend pea coat from H&M (even better if they have a suit on underneath!) – the design of this one is smart enough for the office but casual enough for everyday

This Bellroy Slim Sleeve Wallet in the blue steel is smart and functional without being bulky – it stores a surprising amount of essentials for the size and looks sleek and stylish

Bose are well known for their high quality speakers and these Quiet Comfort 35 headphones have excellent sound quality, block out background noise and are wireless too

I always look at people’s shoes – my old boss used to always say you can tell a lot from someone from their footwear and i’d have to agree (mine says I have split personalities FYI). These smart brown leather Chelsea boots are from River Island.

The MenScience lip balms are simply packaged and offer protection from sunburn, peeling and chapping meaning his lips will be perfectly kissable (that’s a bonus for you too!)

If your man is beardy like mine – then this Mr Natty Famous Beard Elixir will go down a treat – it’s a moisturising beard oil which keeps the skin smooth and helps prevent ingrown hairs; plus it smells pretty damn sexy!

I’ve STILL not played Cards against Humanity but I have only heard good things and I reckon it’d make a good stocking filler for someone who isn’t too easily offended – plus there are lots of expansion packs available too

You’ll notice I’ve steered clear of things like aftershave and clothes because I think those are actually really personal items (hear me out!) – I hardly ever like a perfume that someone else has picked out for me and clothes can be really tricky to get right and so I’d rather not risk them in most cases!
