On Saturday we spent a couple of hours at a local fun fair which was raising money for local church and some local charities that run projects at Lily’s school. It was a lovely day and she had a great time with her friends. I’ve not been well and feel like I’ve not really been able to spend much quality time with my little family so it was nice to do that.
So the gorgeous Kirsty from Kirsty Dee Shares invited me to join in with her 7 day Vlogging Challenge. I’ve got to admit that my first thought was HELL NO! But after thinking about it more I decided that pushing myself out of my comfort zone would actually do me some good and so I threw in my hat.
And so this week I’ve uploaded a couple of videos to my YouTube channel – which you can find here , and surprisingly I’ve enjoyed it! Don’t get me wrong I still hate seeing my face on screen and am paranoid about putting myself out there in this way but I’m also super proud of myself for joining in – it definitely helps that Kirsty and the others joining in are being super supportive 🙂
Here is today’s video; would love to know what you think!
What would you like to hear me talk about?
A lot of the parenting bloggers I follow and love are also ‘vloggers’ i.e they film Video Blogs for YouTube. I’m a complete YouTube addict and I love watching ‘real life’ videos, travel and home decor you-tubers and for a while now I’ve been considering whether or not I should start a YouTube channel of my own. I tested the waters last year with an update on our Fertility Journey but I took it down after I got a pretty horrible message from a family member (who is no longer part of my family FYI) and since then I’ve avoided it.
